Craft becomes modern. The Bauhaus in the making. 2017

Starting on the 13rd of April, PET Lamp project, as an exponent of the coexistence between craft and industrial design, will be part of this exhibition in Dessau with a stunning installation including all collections.
Through this exhibition, Bauhaus school, famous for bridging the gap between art and industry, relates the history of its workshops from the perspective of craft, one of its pivotal disciplines.

Spazio Rossana Orlandi: Mapuche collection

For the fifth consecutive year, we have featured a new collection at the prestigious Rossana Orlandi Gallery. The Mapuche collection is the second Chilean one, but this time it achieved shape and colour by the hands of women artisans belonging to the Ñocha Malen Collective. Salone Satellite: 20 years of new creativity

SaloneSatellite.20 years of New Creativity is a large exhibition curated by Beppe Finessi at the Fabbrica del Vapore. It brings together an anthropology of the prototypes presented during the 20 editions which have achieved success later, by being produced and distributed on the market by prestigious, large-scale companies.
Alvaro Catalan de Ocon brings back in the public eye some of his already featured designs such as Candil lamp and Prima table.

Spazio Rossana Orlandi: Riad table

Alvaro Catalán de Ocón presents the Riad table and the latest PET Lamp Collection during the Salone del Mobile 2016.

A table for indoors and outdoors whose hexagonal shape offers the possibility to reproduce a “raised floor” combining as many pieces as desired.

Infinite Installation

West Bund Art Center, Shanghai. 2016

Installation at the Biannual Art and Design exhibition in Shanghai, curated by Beatrice Leanza. The mirrored walls reflect the setting and multiply up to infinite the PET Lamp.

Vivir con un icono

Colegio Oficial de Arquitectos, COAM, Madrid. 2015

The exhibition “Vivir con un icono” was curated by AD Spain for HTC. Gathered the 50 furniture icons, it was a way to look back 100 years, through XXth century design history.

It was a tribute to all of those visionaire minds, designers, architects and even engineers that have helped to make our day a day more comfortable.

21_21 Design Sight

The Fab Mind at Issey Miyake Foundation, Tokio. 2014

What is essential now is individual thinking, action and communication: this was the basis for this exhibition, The Fab Mind.

It focuses on the commitment and actions of those who, without limiting themselves to creating only tangible design products, attempt to understand and to resolve social issues through design. PET Lamp took part of this fantastic design exhibition.
